Jim Dunn is former CEO of the Center for Technology Commercialization in Westboro, MA, which helps transfer innovative and important technology from MIT and other Universities plus NASA to the public sector. He has over 30 years experience in high-technology ventures from startups to Fortune 100 companies such as IBM and Exxon.

He has written many papers on alternative-energy topics such as fuel cells, energy storage, and hybrid electric vehicles and has received over 10 patents. He has also consulted on numerous projects in the battery, hybrid-vehicle, and fuel-cell fields.

In 2005, he was recognized by Fuel Cell Management Magazine as one of the world's "Top 30 Contributors" to the fuel-cell field. He is currently developing the world's first fuel-cell-powered electric airplane, the E-plane, scheduled to make its maiden flight in 2007.

He is quite active in the renewable-energy field and has participated since 1996 in the annual Tour De Sol (the world’s first and most important solar- and alternative-fuel vehicle rally), sponsored by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association. In 2005, he co-chaired the Tour De Sol event, including developing the new Monte Carlo Rally segment. In 2007, he was technical advisor for the MIT Solar Decathlon Team's entry in the U.S. Department of Energy's 2007 Solar Decathlon.

In 2007, he was selected by the AltWheels Alternative Transportation & Energy Festival in Boston as one of 26 AltWheels Regional Heroes. Through their sustainability actions, they provide shining examples of what all of us can aim to achieve.

Since April 2007, he has co-hosted Energy Freedom Fighters, a weekly, one-hour radio show that explores renewable, sustainable and affordable energy for everyone. It is broadcast and webcast by WCRN/830 AM, whose powerful 50,000-watt signal reaches all of new England during the day and half of the U.S. and Canada at night.

From 2006 to 2007, he was a regular expert on This New Car, a 26-episode, weekly alternative-transportation radio show. It was broadcast and webcast by WICN/90.5 FM, the NPR affiliate serving Central New England.

Gilles Labelle
is a businessman, strategist and speaker on the environment, energy and transportation subjects. He bills himself as the "CO2 Terminator" because of the quite effective educational talks he gives.

He is a retired chemist and one of the founders of Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, formerly a publicly traded company. Until recently, he managed Westboro Toyota’s Hybrid Center of Massachusetts, the largest hybrid-automobile center east of the Rockies.

In 2006 and 2007, he was one of the organizers and Westboro Toyota was one of the sponsors of the AltWheels Alternative Transportation & Energy Festival in Boston. The nationally recognized event drew more than 20,000 people over three days in 2006 and more than 35,000 people over two days in 2007 -- making it the largest event of its kind on the East Coast.

Also in 2007, he was selected by the AltWheels Festival as one of 26 AltWheels Regional Heroes. Through their sustainability actions, they provide shining examples of what all of us can aim to achieve.
